I started working with Running Paws as an
Upper West Side runner about a year ago (January of 2006). Having been involved in sports
my whole life, playing everything from tennis to volleyball and
gymnastics, it was great to find a job opportunity that kept me active
and outside. Running Paws fit perfectly with my lifestyle, and was a
great way to combine my love for animals with staying fit.
While working as a runner I found out about an opening in the Running
Paws office, and after having worked several months with the company, I
was excited by the possibility. Utilizing my communications degree
and being able to work with animals
full-time was an amazing opportunity - I jumped at the
chance!
Now, my focus is on providing exceptional service to every client
and I find that each day brings fresh situations that provide me the
opportunity learn and grow. Our corporate culture stresses client
service, accountability, and growth; every member of our team is
challenged to provide their best each day.
I've now had two great experiences with Running Paws (and counting).
It's been very exciting to be part of a young company and to be able to
contribute to its success. It's also been great spending time with many
different dogs and maintaining relationships with their owners, as well
as the other members of our team.
I always wanted to live in New York City and after graduating from
college I finally made the move from New Hampshire. Now I can finally experience
for myself all the great things NYC has to offer - and I’m happy
to say that Running Paws, at least for dog owners, is definitely one of
those things!
One company. Three innovations.
One mission.
