Seth
The founder of Running Paws, Inc. Seth is an avid runner who loves dogs. Seth enjoys working with puppies and true beginners that need additional attention due to lack of exercise experience. Seth holds an MBA from Pace University.

Josh
An enthusiastic athlete who competed in a semi-professional basketball tournament in Santiago, Chile where his team took the bronze (December 2003). While Josh enjoys working with athletic dogs of all sizes his primary focus is currently working with puppies and their owners. Josh graduated in 1997 from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Seth: Manager
Seth is a New Yorker. He has worked as a professor in several established universities across the country including Yale. In addition to being a scholar, he is also an author. His love for New York brought him back, and his desire to run with dogs (he's ran several marathons) led him to us! After running mid-town east for over year, Seth joined our office team and manages all daily operations.

Battery Park City, TriBeCa and SoHo Athletes


Lee
Lee has been a trusted member of our team for over two years and helps train new runners in the field. He is a talented musician who plays both piano and guitar. Lee is originally from Miami, Florida and performs with his band all over the United States. He has also released music on his own label. Lee enjoys playing in basketball tournaments throughout the New York City area. He is also a vegetarian.


Dane
Dane attended the McNally Smith College of Music for composition and is an event coordinator for the Jazz Hostel on the Upper West Side. He has also worked as an Assistant Sound Engineer. In addition to being an avid runner, Dane was also a Lacrosse coach for three years.


Libra
Libra walks faster than most people run and loves exercising our most athletic dogs. She is our most experienced runner and one of our best athletes. She goes above and beyond for any client.

Lower East Side, East Village and Gramercy Park Athletes


Matt
Matt is a phenomenal saxophonist. He studied saxophone at the University of Rhode Island as well as at the Berklee College of Music. Even with his busy schedule being a freelance musician and dog runner, he still finds time to compete in marathons throughout the year.


Tim
Tim has belonged to the Running Paws team for over two years. When not running with us, he performs with his Brooklyn-based band, Canon Logic. Tim graduated from the University of Delaware. He runs a marathon each year in his hometown, Philadelphia.

Chelsea and Union Square Athletes


Brad
Brad is a comedian from New Hampshire. He grew up with a Yellow Lab named Jake and currently shares his apartment with three dogs his roommate rescued in Virginia. Brad enjoys dogs with lots of energy and personality. He has run as a part of our team for a year.


Andrew
Andrew holds a law degree from the University of Iowa and is a master of the drums and bass guitar. When he's not running as a part of our team as he has for more than a year, he gives music lessons.


Jordan
Jordan came to New York to study at Fordham University, where she is finishing her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is also the general coordinator of the Women's Empowerment Club at Fordham. She is an avid runner who has participated in many area races, including half-marathons and mud runs.

Midtown Athletes


Freddy
Freddy is one of our youngest runners and also a client favorite. He is a student and avid runner with years of experience working with dogs.


Andrea
Andrea has worked for years as a sports trainer, fitness coach and nutrition consultant, including for the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic Games in 2011. she has also taught West African and Jazz dance and worked as a choreographer. She is a superb athlete who loves running with dogs.

Upper West Side Athletes


Julian
Julian is an accomplished musician who has been a strong member of our team for over two years. As the lead singer of his Brooklyn-based band, Napoleon, Julian is currently at work recording his first album.


Clayton
Clayton is a strong runner who has worked for the New York Running Company and a dog lover. He graduated with a BFA from Baylor University. When not running with us, he works a Music Instructor.


Myer
Myer is an avid runner and graduate student at Columbia University. He also served as a Consular Officer for the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Myer will be running in the 2012 NYC Marathon. As a current and active member of the New York Road Runners, Myer spends lots of time competing in a wide variety of races.

Upper East Side Athletes


Artemus
Artemus is a songwriter and has worked as a personal trainer with Bally Total Fitness. Artemus loves dogs and has owned German Shepherds and Doberman Pinchers. Now, he has an Akita. His background in physical fitness and experience with dogs has made him an exceptional member of our team for almost three years.


Scott
Scott graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. He continues to work independently in the field here in New York. He is an avid runner who has owned several dogs.


Dennis
Dennis has completed three marathons and is currently training for the 2013 NYC marathon. He first ran it in 2010. He earned a BFA at The Boston Conservatory and has worked for years as an executive assistant. He owns a Boston Terrier and has years of experience caring for dogs, including large breeds like the Bull Mastiff.

Substitute Athletes


David
David ran for us for two years on the Upper East Side. Now, he works as a substitute. David has completed three marathons. In 2008, just before he joined the Running Paws team, he took a break from his career in finance to spend the year teaching in Africa. This fall, David will start working on his MBA degree.


Allie
Allie graduated from Loyola Marymount University. She is a certified Body Systems Professional, Nutritionist and Yoga and Spinning Instructor. She has years of experience caring for dogs.


Kevin
Kevin is a talented independent landscaper who attended the Art Institute of Seattle. He is an avid runner with years of experience caring for dogs, including nursing strays back to health and finding them homes.
